Art at Christ the King

The history of Christ’s church through the ages has always included fine art. From the building and furnishing of the Tabernacle in the Wilderness to the churches of Russia and the Middle East, to the great cathedrals of Europe; during times of common illiteracy, fine art served to tell the great stories from the Bible and serve to remind worshipers of the truths of our faith. Beautiful art bears witness to the Author of all things good and beautiful. It need not always be religious in theme, but it should always be excellent, the best effort of the artist.

Christ the King PCA is pleased to showcase the art of one of our ruling elders, David Fickett. David is a classical impressionist, and protégé of master painter Aleksander Titovets, as well as a member of The Classical Impressionists of El Paso

Acknowledging that his talent is a gift from God, David's desire is to honor and glorify the Creator and His creation through his work. To learn more about David Fickett and view his art click here
